By creating an account or playing Fish On! Fish On! ("the game," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
Fish On! Fish On! is a browser-based fishing simulator that uses your device's motion sensors (accelerometer/gyroscope) to detect physical gestures — whipping your phone to cast, and flicking it to jig — as part of gameplay.
This game asks you to physically move your phone — swing it, whip it, flick it upward. That carries real, ordinary risks, including but not limited to:
By playing, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you are voluntarily assuming them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any injury to you or others, or any damage to your device or property, arising from your use of the motion-based features of this game — including damage or injury resulting from normal, expected gameplay motions, not just misuse.
These don't eliminate the risks above, but following them reduces the chance of an accident:
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials (password, or the security of the Google account you sign in with) confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. We use a third-party authentication provider (Supabase) and follow reasonable security practices, but we cannot guarantee that any online system is completely immune to unauthorized access, and we are not liable for losses resulting from a compromised account — whether caused by a breach on our end, a breach of a third-party service we rely on, or your own credentials being lost, guessed, or stolen. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us using the email below.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any warranty that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that motion detection will behave accurately or consistently across all devices and browsers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game — including but not limited to device damage, personal injury, data loss, or account compromise — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you depending on where you live.
You agree to hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the game, your violation of these terms, or injury/damage you cause to yourself or others while playing.
We may update the game or these terms at any time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violating these terms or misusing the game.
